Implementation of a novel real-time PCR-based method for molecular diagnosis of prostate cancer:

the method is based on the simultaneous determination of a panel of 8 amplicons
plus an housekeeping gene transcript. All the required primers have already been designed
and proved to function starting from human cDNA preparations obtained from
human total RNA. The method can be implemented as a simple single reaction
for each gene using standard reagents (i.e. CYBR Green). A possible evolution of the
same method might involve multiplex reactions in the same test tube. The method
is supposed to be implemented as a kit, thus a good kit design strategy is also
requested.
